I usually write informative articles related to pediatric surgery, as you know. But this time, it’s going to be a blog outside the field of medicine.<\/span><\/h5>\n
In this section of the Pediatric Surgeon’s Journal, I want to talk about my newly published book. Letters of the Shadow.<\/span><\/h5>\n
It actually started as a hobby.<\/span><\/h5>\n
I was curious about the Cyprus issue. I started reading. I tried to read almost all the books I could find, the theses available online, attending conferences related to the subject, and an accumulation of knowledge began. Occasionally, I received invitations to speak on the topic, and I had the opportunity to share what I learned. But it wasn’t enough. I had a growing desire to convey information to more people. So, I decided to write this book.<\/span><\/h5>\n
I thought creating a book review research book by directly writing what I learned would be less readable, and I am not a historian\/researcher. I thought planning a novel structure, as I did in my previous books, would be more effective. I tried to incorporate a summary of Cyprus history into a fluent story by using short sentences, avoiding long descriptions as much as possible. The result is this work called “Letters of the Shadow.”<\/span><\/h5>\n
I claim you’ll be able to read it quickly in one go. By the end of the book, you’ll not only have gained a lot of information about Cyprus but also witnessed the recent history of the world and Turkey pass before your eyes like a film strip.<\/span><\/h5>\n
